M Street: Built with Purpose, Powered by Equality
M Street is our tribute to Mynderse Street in Seneca Falls, New York, this is the birthplace of the
first equal rights protest in 1848. That moment marked the beginning of a movement that
questioned the status quo and demanded better. At M Street, we honour that legacy by advocating
for a group often overlooked: young people in out-of-home care or detention centres. We believe
that all young people, no matter their background or the system they’ve been part of, deserve equal
rights, respect, and opportunity.
Our services
M Streets Evolution to Life After Care (ELAC) is a program that specialises in transitions to adulthood, we focus on meeting goals that are paramount to not just surviving but thriving in adult life.

M Street exists to provide more than a roof over their heads, it offers dignity. For young people who’ve been system-involved, even answering a simple question like “Where do you live?” can feel isolating. M Street changes that. Instead of naming a facility that may carry stigma, they can simply say, “I live at M Street.” It sounds like any other street, because that’s the point. No labels. No judgment. Just a home.
